Changing the blog around a bit…
Hello friends,
As you may have noticed the last week or so I have changed Anchored around a bit, playing with different colors, themes and graphics. I have decided on a pretty clean and simple appearance with a graphic at the top that is taken from a piece that I painted a few weeks ago. Here is the painting it its entirety. I have never been a painter before but feeling frustrated I thought it would be a good outlet to explore. Maybe I’ll be making more in the future so that I can get better!

Art Obsession
I stumbled across this art today and am in love! The artist, Mark Khaisman, makes all of his pieces entirely out of tape. I would love to go to an exhibit and even been inspired to attempt to create my own!
Khaisman was born in Ukraine and studied art in Moscow. Although he now lives in Philadelphia where is also has his studio. Road trip anyone?
